The Fix 500 Best On-Site Songs

Troy Stevens 28 August 2020

Fix Radio are on a mission to find out what the best on site song for builders and trades people is.

Over the summer listeners to the builder’s radio station which broadcasts on DAB digital radio in London and Manchester (together with online, app and smart speakers) have been voting for their favourite on site songs.

Fix received thousands of votes from their army of loyal listeners.

The songs nominated were then put in order of votes received 500 to number 1.

This August bank holiday Fix Radio will play every single one of the 500 songs voted for before finally revealing the nation’s number one just after 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon in a special show hosted by Tony Dibbin.

Tony who is host of Fix Radio at Breakfast said, “It’s an incredible soundtrack to the bank holiday weekend - 500 songs as voted for by our amazing listeners. There’s all kinds of tracks in there from Elbow to Elton John”

The Fix 500 is sponsored by Rhino Trade Insurance, and we are proud to partner with Fix in such a great quest to discover our nation’s favourite on site song. Our Commercial Director Troy Stevens commented; ‘What better way of spending your bank holiday than once and for all finding out what is the best song to listen to on site. Fix always play belters, but I’m really looking forward to hearing what the tradesmen of the UK consider the best on site song.’

Which song has been voted for and is the UK’s favourite on site song is currently a tightly guarded secret - The only way to find out is to tune in across the bank holiday weekend to find out!
