How do claims work?

If you need to make a claim, it’s easy. You can do it by email, phone call or by First Class post. You should make your claim as soon as possible after the incident, and make sure to keep the following handy:

• Your policy number
• The time and date of the incident
• The receipt for your tools (emails are fine for online purchases)
• Police crime reference number, for cases of tool theft

You must also be sure to report tool theft to the Police within 48 hours of discovery.
